Are you looking for a new cause to get involved with? Have all the other trendy world issues blown over a bit too fast for you? Then you’re in luck, because the next great cause for you to get involved with is here! Help put an end to erasing behavior by stamping out the root of the problem.
Third time i’m asking this exact question: who the fuck are you to tell people how to define themselves?
I’m gonna vastly simplify this for you. Genitalia is just a part of the body. Like arms and legs. Gender is the mental and emotional part of it. Defining oneself by the type of genitalia one has does not make ANY FUCKING SENSE.
That would be like saying… I have a big ass. I’m gonna shape my personality and personal identity based on that.
Doesn’t make sense, right?
It doesn’t make any more sense to define oneself by what’s between one’s legs.
A person doesn’t have to adhere to traditional gender roles to have gender. I know plenty of boys who know how to do their makeup 1,000 times better than me. I know women who haul lumber for a living. It doesn’t matter. The gender spectrum means that it’s okay to be neither gender. It’s okay to be both. Gender is personal identity.
Seriously. Again, asking for sources. Where are you reading this stuff? Based on the fact that you don’t even fully grasp the definition of the word “gender”, I’m gonna assume you haven’t read shit on the subject. feel free to prove me wrong on that.
So because a boy can do makeup 1,000 times better than you that must mean they’re female identifying? Because a woman hauls lumber for a living she must be a big man-dyke? Well, well, well…look who is perpetuating gender roles now. Girls and boys can like whatever they want without it meaning they are more geared to a certain gender. Maybe genitalia plays a role in these discussions because it’s fucking biology and no matter how badly you want to refute it, you can’t.
Traditionally men are born with penises and women with vaginas, and that is why people tie gender to them. Exceptions? Sure, but that doesn’t make it any less true. Also, you people try so damn hard to fight traditional gender roles that you end up sounding just as stupid as the people who reject the idea of anything else. You’re using the same logic, the only difference is you’re on the other side of the fence. Onward cis/queer/white/sex positive/whateverthefuck—blogger, there is oppression elsewhere to battle!
This is quite possibly the worst website I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying something considering I’ve browsed various social justice based tumblrs. All it does is give anyone that is part of an oppressed group (or believes they are) a reason to tell everyone else that they’re wrong no matter what they say. If that’s not the definition of “derailing for dummies”, I really don’t know what is. Also, simply linking to this website in response to someone you disagree with is not an argument.
Just because you’re “oppressed”, doesn’t mean you’re always right.
so is right-handed privilege a thing
and do people complain about it
I think you’re on to something here. We can call it “the right privilege”. Left-handed people are clearly an oppressed minority that needs the attention of the social justice community. Only they are equipped to spread the word on this great injustice!
SLUT SHAMING. I CALL SLUTSHAMING. Can we play a game like punch red buggy, where every time someone makes a slutshaming comment, you punch someone in the face?
Having a sense of morality = slut shaming. Only by inserting your dick into multiple vaginas or allowing the insertion of multiple dicks into your vagina can we hope to break this oppressive cycle! Join hands (or should I say genitals?) all mightiest warriors against slut-shaming, for it is you that is the future! Fight as one against those who would be a little bit more selective about their sexual partners as though it’s a bad thing. Down with the oppressors! Power to the sex organs!
A man fucks 100 women and he’s a god.
A woman fucks 100 men and she’s a slut.
This is oppression at its finest.
Actually, they’re both sluts. See? I’m all about equality.
I’ll preface this with the note that I am not a woman and have never been catcalled in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. But this all just seems like common sense to me.
One of the most prevalent things I’ve noticed on OkCupid, besides rampant idiocy, is that men don’t seem to…
So now genuine compliments such as “you have a nice smile” or “lovely eyes” are promoting rape culture? If you find that creepy you should probably just wear a paper bag over your head and never bother to date. Ever. Now if someone says something sexual to you in the first encounter (be it online or real life), yes, that’s wrong, but part of attraction to someone is appearance. Everyone notices appearances, men and women alike, it’s just a matter of approaching the situation with some tact, not cutting out complimentary comments as a whole. That’s just as idiotic as the guys who think saying “hey ur hot letz trade n00dz” is a good opener.
because we’re all intolerant toward something.
nature’s little abortion.
The sad thing is that people fight behind the guise of “equality” when really all they’re trying to do is limit others in the same way that they feel they’ve been limited. They want to tell us how to live, what to wear, what to think, what to say, what we can have opinions on and when to be…
