Third time i’m asking this exact question: who the fuck are you to tell people how to define themselves?

I’m gonna vastly simplify this for you. Genitalia is just a part of the body. Like arms and legs. Gender is the mental and emotional part of it. Defining oneself by the type of genitalia one has does not make ANY FUCKING SENSE.

That would be like saying… I have a big ass. I’m gonna shape my personality and personal identity based on that.

Doesn’t make sense, right?

It doesn’t make any more sense to define oneself by what’s between one’s legs.

A person doesn’t have to adhere to traditional gender roles to have gender. I know plenty of boys who know how to do their makeup 1,000 times better than me. I know women who haul lumber for a living. It doesn’t matter. The gender spectrum means that it’s okay to be neither gender. It’s okay to be both. Gender is personal identity.

Seriously. Again, asking for sources. Where are you reading this stuff? Based on the fact that you don’t even fully grasp the definition of the word “gender”, I’m gonna assume you haven’t read shit on the subject. feel free to prove me wrong on that.

So because a boy can do makeup 1,000 times better than you that must mean they’re female identifying? Because a woman hauls lumber for a living she must be a big man-dyke? Well, well, well…look who is perpetuating gender roles now. Girls and boys can like whatever they want without it meaning they are more geared to a certain gender. Maybe genitalia plays a role in these discussions because it’s fucking biology and no matter how badly you want to refute it, you can’t.

Traditionally men are born with penises and women with vaginas, and that is why people tie gender to them. Exceptions? Sure, but that doesn’t make it any less true. Also, you people try so damn hard to fight traditional gender roles that you end up sounding just as stupid as the people who reject the idea of anything else. You’re using the same logic, the only difference is you’re on the other side of the fence. Onward cis/queer/white/sex positive/whateverthefuck—blogger, there is oppression elsewhere to battle!
